Last night was the first of many birthday parties for Smo’s 30th! So some of our bravest friends joined us on a quest to the dungeons of Saint Vitus to defeat the dreaded Beholder. D20’s at the ready! Smo designs all his own party fliers. Smo used Metalcakes’ Red Velvet Horse for the beholder batter (which was the richest most wonderful thing) and because he’s awesome he made it vegan and gluten-free! We whipped up some bright green icing and Smo made a green […]
Recently my super rad boyfriend Smo, who animates at Titmouse (you know those Adult Swim guys), was in the Printmouse show at Bunnycutlet Gallery in Brooklyn with his “King of Diamond” print. You can buy it here! In support I used Metal Cakes’ (She’s a rad baker out of Chicago making metal band themed cupcakes) “Saint Vitus black batter white batter” to make a King Diamond variety. I know we’re mixing bands here, but it seemed so appropriate. After finding card suit […]
I’ve been asked to do some gnarly makeup for some Brooklyn events recently. The Brooklyn Zombie crawl took over the streets of Bedford, much to the dismay of pretty much every black car in Williamsburg. Public Assembly wrapped up the crawl with some crazy acts including Fucking Bullshit, a punk cover band with my buddies Smo and Brian fronted by Igor who also photographed the whole event (photos below are his, hire him for your party especially if there’s boobs) […]

I’ve been so excited to be apart of Classic Stage Company’s past season including their closing show ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ with Bebe Neuworth and Christina Ricci. Although theater isn’t the majority of my work being able to do wig styling for this company has been such fun. I think my favorite was working with the amazing wigs in Cherry Orchard including taking over the styling and maintenance of Dianne Wiest’s victorian updo. Being an incredibly gracious and talented actress just […]
So its true its been since August since an update… and it’s true I’ve been busy doing a range of projects including a slew of independent films of all lengths, bike trips with lots of photography, silly personal projects, and fixing a wig or two. I’ll space them out a bit, but lets start with some decay and death. Some ‘alive and dead’ makeup on Chris Chan for a Columbia University short called ‘Breakaway’ some piano wire stranglin’ hands for […]
I was so stoked to shoot with Mark Mann the other week. His photography is amazing, and we both got to geek out over our love of instant film. Meredith, his Graflex and him are trying to get to Mexico via Kickstarter. The “Lucha Libre” project is definitely worthy of your donation! The shoot we did was to highlight my tattoos, which haven’t been shot since Sean Ryan did a few years ago in Toronto. Since the film is instant, there was […]
Back in March I was lucky enough to do a fun “white swan” shoot put together by Joseph McArthur for fashionindie.com The whole team was amazing to work with and I was blown away to see the final product. Here’s the full shoot.
